Stonehenge to make way for new road.
English Heritage and the Highways Agency have announced new plans in the ongoing Stonehenge Road Improvements saga.
In an ambitious plan it has been proposed that Stonehenge be moved half a mile to the left, one stone at a time to accomodate changes to the A303 superhighway.
All archeology is to be moved along with the iconic monument and placed in a new visitors center, away from the damaging erosive qualities of the british weather.
